Windows 10: Windows taskbar popping up because apps are turning orange

I have been trying to solve this but nothing has worked. Whenever an app I'm using is trying to notify me, it will turn orange and pop up. I normally have the taskbar hidden so it only shows when I hover my cursor over the bottom of my screen. However, even when I make sure the taskbar is hidden in desktop mode, it will still pop up when an app is giving me a notification. Is there any way to fix this?

Are you referring to taskbar preview window pop-ups?



If yes, there is no option to disable the taskbar window pop-ups when you hover the mouse, this is by design.

However you may Auto-hide taskbar by following the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the taskbar and select properties.
  
• 
  In the Taskbar tab, Place a tick mark for Auto-hide the taskbar.
  

You may provide your suggestions in the feedback app.

Follow the steps:

• Go to Start, enter the phrase Windows Feedback, and then select Windows Feedback.
• See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft Music.
• If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, and then select Me too.
• To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Music app, select Apps > Music.
• If you don’t find any similar feedback, select New Feedback, and choose a topic from Select a category and then select a subcategory.
  
• Enter your feedback (the more details the better!), add a screenshot if you can, and you're done.

Turn off taskbar pop up notifications?

Everything is off in Notifications & actions, except for Focus assist and Skype. Evernote isn't listed under Notifications & actions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Evernote.

I can't find any settings in Evernote that trigger the taskbar popping up with I create a new note.

I'd even be willing to change a registry setting if that would keep the taskbar from popping up to notify me.

Only other thing I can suggest is turning off notifications on certain programs, or,
if you want to get drastic, you could Ctrl+Shift+Right Click on the Taskbar and 'Exit Explorer', as long as the games/apps will continue running with Explorer shut down!
