Windows 10: Windows ten, Studio one Midi connection problems.

Hi i bought Studio one 5 artist to use my Nektar impact gx61 with and i went with a Windows laptop over mac for cost reasons.


the Midi is usb and plug and play ready. I registered the Midi on the webite and downloaded the support app, ran it and finished it.


Upon trying to connect my midi though external devices, choosing the recieve from drop down i realised there is no options leading me to beleive that the pc is not receiving the midi signal. so i checked through devices and the computer see's the keyboard and says its all fine and dandy. I cant seem to find anything anywhere on this particular issue and therefore finding hard to troubleshoot.


hopefully someone can see this can may be able to help. just spend hundreds on this set up and i cant connect my MIDI :

MIDI file problem

Recently I have downloaded a MIDI file from YouTube for remixing, I didn't have any problem downloading the file, but when I drag my MIDI file into the piano roll in FL studio 20, it only comes up with the bass chords. I got confused for a while, then decided
to open the MIDI file in Window's media player, it was completely fine, the melody was there. However when I drag the MIDI file into the piano roll, it's the same. I have also tried different MIDI files, and the same thing happens. Any help would be appreciated.

midi keyboard midiplus i61 not sending midi info to any program. windows 10

I recently bought a midi keyboard to get back into piano. The problem is that even though the keyboard is recognized by my computer as i61, as a usb audio device, it won't send any midi input into any midi program I have tried (Anvil studio, midi editor,
midi piano and simple piano). One program (anvil studio) says that it is getting an unknown error from my keyboard (very useful /s). The keyboard works on other computers (Mac w/ garageband and HP windows 8.1 w/ simple piano) but I've had no luck on mine.
I'm using an inspiron 13 5378 with windows 10.

 

Bluetooth MIDI device visibility problem in WIN10

Hello. Although WIN10 allows you to connect a BlueTooth MIDI device, the following problem occurs:

Although BT MIDI devices (in my case Roland GO: KEYS) can be paired with the computer - "paired" appears in the connection manager and the keyboard apparently communicates with the computer which accepts MIDI data - for example in MIDIberry, in DAW programs
(like Sonar, Ableton, NI KontaKt, Sibelius, etc.) the device does not appear in the list of available MIDI devices. As if not present.

2 times it happened that all of a sudden, a message came out of the notification center: GO: KEYS MIDI is ready for use and the device was visible and functional in all applications. It took only a few hours until it stopped showing up again. Are you familiar
with how this works and how can you solve it? The device is listed in the device manager and the drivers are updated. Thank you.
