    MSvcr90.dll


    MSVCR90.DLL is part of Visual C++ redistributable. Normally when you install a program the correct version should be installed along with it automatically. You could uninstall and re-install Office and that should fix it.

    Alternatively you could check you have the same installed as me (as I have Office 2010 and not much else). You should have these 4 (although perhaps one is due to me installing something else). If you are missing any you can download them from MS. They are small and note, not cumulative so 2012 version does not include 2010.

    For me Excel 2010 works fine with all latest updates.

    I recently upgraded from Win 7 to 10 and have one problem after another. The specific one I am writing about is the fact that I cannot now get into my excel spreadsheets. Keeps coming back that I am missing MSvcr90.dll. However, how is it that I can open windows without a problem. Also I could not open Power Point. What a mess. Please help me out with this. I need to get to excel soon.. I am running microsoft office home & business 2010 x64 on a dell Optiplex 790 (old timer).
