    Windows text enlargement problem.


    Hi. Has anyone come across this issue before? I visited a friend recently when they asked me to see if I could fix a problem with the size of text and generally enlarge things on screen as they suffer from visual impairment. I increased the screen zoom to 125% which helped but it did not enlarge the taskbar nor did it effect the size of the system text. So I went into settings and increased the font size as far as it would go. This helped with much of the Windows user interface and in certain applications. However, it did not change the text size beneath icons nor the text size on some element

    Enlarging Fonts

    Hi,

    The option for enlarging fonts, apps, and other items is located in the Display settings. To enlarge fonts, apps, and other items in
    Windows 10, kindly follow these steps:

    • Right-click on any blank space on your desktop.
    • Open Display settings.
    • Under Change the size of text, apps, and other items on the Display tab, select your preferred size percentage.

    enlarging text size in windows 10

    I have the same issue as described. I tried both of the suggestions from the support engineer but neither worked. The enlarge text size in Settings is still grayed out. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
