  1. Windows thinks something is running on fullscreen

My problem is when I close/minimise everything to get to desktop, focus assist sets itself to "alarms only". I've set to do this only when something runs on fullscreen mode. I've closed all background applications which I thought were running themselves on fullscreen mode, but it's no use.Is there a way to find out which process/application is running itself as fullscreen? Or maybe there is some issue with my windows 10 installation.

    :)

  2. Automatically moving a fullscreen window onto a new desktop

    Hi Joel,

In Windows 10, there is an option to open an app in a fullscreen view. This way, it will be possible for you to make the fullscreen window move to a new desktop. Follow these steps to do so.

    • Right click on the application.
    • Select Properties.
    • Click on the Shortcut tab.
    • Beside the Run option, click on the drop-down menu and then choose Maximized.
    • Click on Apply button and then click OK.

If further assistance is needed, we are here to help.

    Windows 10 KB3213986 Update Cripples Multi-monitor Gaming

This should be enough to get the conspiracy theorists suggesting that Microsoft is intentionally crippling multi-monitor support in fullscreen mode since games sold on the Microsoft Store all work in the pseudo-fullscreen mode...

Or it could just be an idiotic bug that will be fixed in time.

Windows thinks something is running on fullscreen

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Windows thinks something is running on fullscreen :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
