Windows to Go - NOT upgradeable --Pity

    Hi there

Windows to Go can't be upgraded unfortunately --you'll have to create it from scratch.

I tried booting a Windows to go 8.1 system and then trying to run the upgrade --unfortunately no go !!!! -

    screenshot below.

Pity as it would have saved re-installing a load of stuff.

BTW you CAN install Windows to go on "Non certified" devices if you can't create via the control panel.

Here' the instructions -- OK it's W8.1 but the same for W10 - choose the right files for the 64 bit version if you want that though.

Here's the block when trying to update a W8.1 Windows to go.

    Cheers

  2. MOSH website - isn´t it a pity...

... that so many people post apps or something on that website without going to the hazzle of writing what it actually IS they´re uploading - according to the counters, those things even get downloaded quite a lot. This may not be a security issue, but
I still refrain from downloading anything when I don´t know what it is.

  3. Microsoft print to PDF

Typical non-answer. No one's got time for that. Easier (not to mention better product) to download a free third-party app that actually works. Pitiful, just pitiful.

    Hi there

No probs INSTALLING a windows to Go -- I was hoping to upgrade an EXISTING installation rather than clean install - to save re-installing apps like Office etc again.

If you don't have many apps installed on Windows to Go then of course no problems doing a new install. Things like PHOTOSHOP and OFFICE for example do take a bit longer though to re-install,

    Cheers
