Windows 10: Windows too long to load after typing PIN in

Good evening,I have a really simple problem which is that Windows the deskptop takes too long to load up after typing my PIN in. After researching online, apparently, this is a "corrupted account/user issue".I know this has been posted already but the solutions provided in the past are basically "creating a new user", which I have already done and is not helpful at all as the problem will come up again if I link my hotmail account to my "Mail" app, for example. So I assume the solution would be to stop using my hotmail account 100% or just creating a new one? I refuse to think that´s the onl

Have PIN for Windows 10 but need Windows password

To set up a PIN on your Windows account, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Type the word pin in the search box and select
  Set up PIN sign-in.

  Under the PIN section, click the
  Add button.
  
• 
  Enter the password for your user account, then click the
  OK button.

  Follow the instructions on the screen.

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.

Long Loading Time for Lock Screen

Hello Pawan, thank you for the reply!

I've tried all of the steps that you've given me. Unfortunately, none of them made a difference except for the clean boot step. It didn't completely solve the problem, however I did notice a
slightly faster load time for the lock screen. However, it still takes an unusually long time to load it. Any other suggestions?
