Windows 10: Windows transfer to new machine

Hi all,Looking for help. I've spent essentially a half a day on technical support with Microsoft and feel just lost and defeated. No lie one of the transfers I had today hopefully it was a recorded line, someone gave me a phone number 866-425-1856 to re-contact technical support and when I called that after the call dropped it said I uniquely qualified if I was over 50 for a special deal WHAT?. I thought crowd sourcing might put me towards an answer that works. I purchased a copy of Windows 11 Pro from the Microsoft store in 2023. Installed without issue inside a Parallels virtual envir

Microsoft allows unlimited machine-to-machine transfers of Windows Vista

On October 16th, Microsoft thought it would be a good idea to limit the amount of times users transferred their Windows Vista license. There was a humongous outcry from computer hobbyists, and Microsoft has officially decided to let users transfer their copy of Windows Vista from one machine to another as many times as they like. This is of course assuming that the copy of Windows Vista is genuine, and that the said copy of Windows Vista is no longer on the machine Windows Vista was transferred from. Microsoft will not change any other components of their license, which includes a limit on running Windows Vista in a virtual machine.

Transfer files (Pictures, Documents) from a Windows 7 PC to a Windows 10 PC

I recently purchased a new laptop with windows 10. My old laptop has windows 7. Can anyone list the step-by-step instructions for transferring the data to the new machine? I understand that windows easy transfer is no longer an option for windows 10.

What is the process for transfering Windows 10 to a new machine? I have upgraded Windows 7 (retail) to Windows 10, but now need to transfer that license to another machine. However, I am unable to install Windows 7 onto the new machine (setup hangs every
time after the initial 'loading files' section). Without being able to install Windows 7, I can't upgrade it to Windows 10. Is there any way to install Windows 10 directly onto the new machine having it somehow linked to my Microsoft account for activation,
as we obviously don't have a product key having upgraded 7-10 on the current system...

Can anyone help?
