    Windows tray icons don't show recent files after system restart

    The File Explorer recent files also disappears after system restart.


    I would like to see all recent files and folders because they make opening them much easier.

    Which settings should I change?

    you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

    all the services to which it depends this one are actually set to -automatic- and are all working...

    i've just unistalled and do the exact procedure suggested by marsmimar..but did really not solve
