Windows 10: Windows troubleshooting problem.

My windows laptop suddenly went into an auto repair or recovery mode. And after running for some 10-15 minutes it is unable to start and says " Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll start for you" and then asks some troubleshooting options, and all the options which I select go into a loop which finally comes to the same statement " Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll start for you". I have tried most of ll the combination of options available except the one which asks for deleting all my personal files and reinstalling windows, so that my laptop sta

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):
