Windows 10: Windows Trying to Sign In Using Outdated Login ID

When I created my Microsoft account, I used an e-mail address that is now defunct. Shortly before the address was shut down, I switched the account to a new e-mail address. At the time, there were no issues with this.


But just a few weeks ago, things changed. Now whenever a Windows application needs to verify my log-in information for instance, the Windows Store, or my Outlook e-mail account, I get a pop-up panel asking me to sign into my Microsoft account using the original e-mail address as my log-in ID. It never works. And there doesn't appear to be a way to change the log-in ID that is being asked for. I've checked my Windows account settings, and confirmed that the correct e-mail address is listed there. I've double-checked the settings of my Microsoft account online, and confirmed that the original e-mail address doesn't appear to be listed anywhere in my account information. I've also changed my password online just to confirm that I was using the right one when trying to sign in. I've checked my mail settings. But I can't seem to figure out where my system is getting the old log-in e-mail address from.


Any ideas?

Can't choose Youtube ID login

Hi!

On my Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 7.8 I'm having problems with choosing a different ID when I login. I'd rather use my second one, but I cannot because the list is not scrollable. Is this a problem with youtube mobile site, or my old version of Windows
Phone?

I suggest you to install any pending updates on the pc to keep the system up to date.

I would also suggest you To Sign out from the current user account, restart the pc and login to the admin account to check if the issue persists. To do so kindly follow the below
given steps:

Disconnecting the account:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in with Local account instead.
  
• Provide password and click on Next.
• Provide the details and click on Sign out and Finish.

Sign in with the local account and follow the below given steps.

Reconnect with new Microsoft email id:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Provide New Email id and password that you want to add.
• Provide the details and click on Sign out and Finish.
