Windows 10: Windows unable to open

When I turn on my Toshiba laptop 2105, it says Preparing Automatic Repair, then the screen turns blue, and then diagnosing your PC, and lastly can't repair. I have tried the Advanced Options, Troubleshoot except Reset and UEFI Firmware. I tried opening in safe mode, repairing disk errors, uninstall quality update, uninstall feature update, and system restore.

I was afraid of using Reset for fear of losing files, including program files.

I purchased Microsoft Office Professional online in Nov. 2015 from Microsoft. I would like to keep those programs. Is there a security key I could have to reinstall Office Professional?

I tried Command Prompt: bootrec/fixmbr, ScanOs and RebuildBcd and received messages that scanned Windows Installations total Identified Windows Installations 0. For bootrec/FixBoot I got access in denied.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
