Windows 10: Windows unable to update -> also unable the do a fresh start

This is an OEM version of Windows Pro that I'm using, ever since the last update of march this year, I have been able to update the computer.... it keeps telling me that I need to check the settings folder at a later date. I run sfc / scannow and its stops at 55%. Even when chkdsk / r completes fine and I get this afterwards. The issue I have is that this is a registered version of windows ... installed on a new harddrive new mother, etc. I use Malwarebytes to check every open-source software install of which are wamp, gimp Inkscape and OBS. I actually liked Windows 10, and this is absolutely

Windows Defender disabled and is unable to start


OK. I am not sure if you can complete the steps below.......................
In the search box, type services.msc > Enter
Items in the Services box are listed alphabetically.
Scroll down to Windows Defender Service...........................
at Status heading, it should be.................................... Running
at Startup type, it should be......................................... Automatic







If that is not what yours said, right click at Windows Defender Service > click Properties >
can you change the Startup type to Automatic and Service status to Start ?
If yes, do so and click OK when done.

 

Unable to install update

I'm unable to install the KB4103721 update on windows 10. I cant shutdown the computer normally, it keeps saying update and shutdown/restart no matter how many times I do it.

Thins I've already tired:

• Update and shutdown
• Update and restart
• deleted the update from windows/softwaredistribution
• tried to restore system to before I tried to install it.

 

Unable to Update Intel Graphics Drivers

I'm having a bit of a hard time with this driver update. Currently I'm on 10.18.10.4425 and need to update to 15.33.43.4425 however partway through the process the PC locks up and is unable to continue. I'm using the update tool I downloaded from the website so there shoud be no problems right?
