Windows 10: Windows uninstall and re-install

Hi, my daughter bought a lenovo 120S-11iap ideapad with only 32GB of eMMC memory.

I have tried to upgrade the internal memory with an SSD hard drive but found that there is no M2 socket to connect it to, despite what it says in the Lenovo manual. I took this up with Lenovo but basically they do not want to know.

So the only way to increase the memory is via a USB or micro SSD etc.

These work, but I can not get round insufficient space to upgrade windows 10, which takes up nearly all of the eMMC memory. I have tried loading the upgrade from a USB with another USB to take the load whilst the upgrade is going on, but that won't work as it still says it needs over 2GB of the eMMC memory before it can do the upgrade this way and I can not free up any more space no matter what I try.

So it looks like the only way I can get round this is to wipe the whole machine and start again by downloading the latest version of windows 10 including the latest upgrade, which should be OK at least until the next major upgrade ruins my life again.


Can someone tell me how I should go about this without losing any of her data.


I am 65 and no computer techie so please try and make it simple.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

Windows 7 wont install drivers

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
