    Windows unresponsive when PC is left unatteded


    I have an HP Pavilion laptop 14 running, currently, Windows Home, Version 20H2, OS Build 19042.1237.Sporadically, perhaps 5 times per week, the PC when left unattended will have a completely black screen, fans whirring, but no amount of hammering the mouse or the keyboard will wake it up. It has to be forcibly power cycled. It has always been like this so 3 years or more, and I have never found any way to prevent it.I've read endless articles on it, have changed the power settings currently the system is set never to sleep when plugged in: was plugged in all night but when I came to it thi
