    Windows Update 2220-11 Cumulative update preview for Net frameword 3.5 and 4,8 Windows 10...


    The above update appeared in my HP Pavilion 17-g16us laptop Windows 10 update list and won't fully load. It gets to 99% and then says We couldn't complete the update. Undoing changes. I tried the Microsoft automated response help with this problem but their solutions either didn't work or were too sophisticated for me. When the bot finally appeared ready to connect me to a person, it cut me off.


    So, do I really need this update? Mine is a home device and only linked to a printer via wifi. Since I can't update it, can I just let it run and undo itself say once a week while my other updates install? Right now I have Windows updates turned off temporarily.
