Windows 10: Windows update 22H2 - been trying to upgrade for 6 months

I am at my wits end with this.It seems I am left with little alternative option than to create an ISO and re-install windows from scratch. I really need this update to get the latest versions of photoshop and Lightroom - without it I can't install them.Each time the download takes 30 minutes then it runs through and gives me an error message saying it can't install 0xc1900204I've tried the Cmd prompt stuff, stopping the system processes and restarting. No luck.I've tried the troubleshooter - no luckI've tried the file system checker which seems to fail without completing giving me the messag

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update. I wish things are that simple. My error code was 0x80246017, and I don't have KB5020435 installed so it's a dead end. BTW, MS lists like 6 or 7 error codes of the format 0x8024xxxx on the "troubleshooting WU problems", and when you chose next step, it suggests generic steps: run WU troubleshooter, check if your disk has no errors, is your remote disk is accessible, etc. Same as MS community; each similar error has completely different cause and (re)solution. MS in notorious for this- if it works then OK, if it doesn't then good luck.

The script ran fine. I hope you rebooted the unit.

You should be able to install updates (or do an in-place upgrade, if required) now.

Please do the following:

Option 1:

• Install the latest cumulative update for your OS version via Windows Update.
