Windows 10: Windows update 24H4 intermittent static noise.

Since my update yesterday I've been experiencing intermittent static noise on my laptop ACER Predator PT516-52SThis was not present before the update.Tried every possible solution:Reset bios Checked Realtek DriversRemoved advanced option on speaker settings...Please Microsoft fix this as soon as possible as it is your contracted obligation. Without being profane Microsoft should not release major updates without proper testing. This is outrageous. Fix it !

Windows 10 static noise

I am using the Logitech G230 as a headset and before installing Windows 10 the sound was fine. But after installing Windows 10 my microphone makes alot of static noise. I tried my headset on a computer with Windows 7 again and the static noise dissapeared,
but after going back to my own computer with Windows 10 the static noise came back. What can I do to fix this?

Based on this edited response. Yes, the static noise is because of the built-in MIC.

Constant static noises ONLY in Windows

Hello Julian. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

1) Try these fixes first for static noise in Windows 10 Sound:

2) Update the Sound controller drivers from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads webpage for your exact model. While there compare to make sure you also have the latest BIOS, Chipset, Display, Network and all other drivers.

If no newer then uninstall the Sound controller driver in Device Manager, restart PC to reinstall it.

Next go into Device Manager, right click Sound controller driver to Upgrade driver, then Automatically.

If nothing newer found in Windows Update then try again but this time choose Upgrade Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick to try all previous drivers queued there.

3) Unfortunately both of those sound adapters are problematic. So let's test which is causing it by disabling each one in the Device Manager to test the other one without it.

Once we know which is the problem adapter we can try the known troubleshooting steps for that adapter causing static, which will I'm sure be plentiful since those two chips seem to cause more problems than any other.

If neither is identified as causing it then check over Windows 10's own known issues and fixes for Static:
