Windows 10: Windows update and wireless mouse/keyboard/receiver

Hi there,Following the Windows update on 10 May I've had a serious problem with my USB wireless mouse, keyboard and possibly receiver. In short the mouse and keyboard are basically not working unless next to the receiver when plugged into a USB port. This renders them effectively not wireless for this reason. I've tried two different sets - both have the same issue when plugged into this device but not when plugged into other devices. I initially was using Windows 10 but in the process of a system restore everything totally failed and I had to do a 'reset' and then updated to Windows 11 - no h

• Outdated device driver
• No device driver installed
• Faulty wireless mouse receiver

We would like to know some information to better isolate the issue:

• Have you done any changes (like updating your Windows) on your computer prior to the issue?
  
• Have you tried using using your wireless mouse on other computer and checked if the issue persists?
• Have you tried updating your wireless mouse driver?

For initial troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to run Windows troubleshooter:

• Type troubleshoot in the search box and press Enter.
• Select Hardware and Devices, then click
  Run the troubleshooter.

Logitech mouse and Keyboard issues

Thank you as well. I have no owned a corded mouse in 15 years or since they had wireless mice. Can I do the steps backwards, meaning do the keyboard first rather than the mouse since I will need a working mouse to do all this?

This usually happens if there’s a signal interference. If you’re using a Wi-Fi router, you may want to move it away from the keyboard/mouse receiver to see if the issue persists.
