Windows 10: Windows Update asking old version of AMD Graphics Driver for update

Since, I already update my AMD Drivers from AMD Official Website, but Windows Update is trying to update old version of AMD Drivers.I have already AMD Graphics Driver 30.0.13002.1001 and AMD Graphics Driver 31.0.14057.5006, while Windows Update is showing AMD Graphics Driver 31.0.12014.6.As I remember that I have cleared Window Update History somehow, then it asks me to update. There is not option to remove the update or ignore the update. Whenever I connected to a Wi-Fi, that is not selected as Metered Connection, it automatically tries to download this driver. Please give me some suggestions

WU force update old AMD graphic driver

I have an IdeaPad Gaming 3-15ACH6 Laptop - Type 82K2. As of now, WU keeps pushing up an old version of the AMD graphic driver and it messes with the AMD Adrenalin app. If the update goes through then I will get an error message when opening the AMD Adrenalin app that the graphic driver and the AMD Adrenalin app version does not compatible with each other. Then I have to use the AMD Adrenalin app installer from their website and install both the graphic driver and the app ticking the Factory reset option while I install it. I just wondering if is there any way to stop WU from updating to an older version of the graphic driver but still let it update all other drivers such as the Samsung Electronic thing without having to reinstall the graphic driver using AMD Adrenalin and the factory reset option.

 

Windows Update deletes AMD graphics drivers

Hello. I have a Lenovo Yoga 6 with a Ryzen 7 5700U CPU. I want to install AMD Radeon software to get the latest AMD graphics drivers. I am able to install the graphics drivers from AMD fine. However, once I do, Radeon software stops working since it says the driver is not supported. I look in Windows Update history to see that Windows Update installed an older AMD graphics driver over the one that AMD installed. I also noticed that the screen brightness slider is gone after. I want to have the latest AMD graphics driver, not the Windows Update one.

I tried going into the system properties settings and selected the choice to not install manufacturer drivers. I also used DDU with the setting to prevent Windows Update from installing it. I then reinstalled the AMD driver. Windows Update immediately went and installed over it again. I can try to pause Windows Update, but I do not want to not get other updates just so I do not have to use older graphics drivers. Is there anything I can do to have the correct graphics drivers?

 

New ati driver threw windows update?

I asked this same question on the AMD-ATI forum and the moderator informed me that the windows update is an older version of their drivers. So, don't download it.
