Windows 10: Windows update Breaking my laptop

After the december 2020 windows update KB 4586781 my laptop goes into blue screen whea uncorectable error.

As soon as I open my website nextotech to edit, it restarts with blue screen.

Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
