    Windows Update conflicting messages

I ran WU today to get MSO updates due to a new MSO install. I rebooted and ran WU again just to be sure. I was expecting to get H121, but no biggie if I don't get it yet. However, this makes no sense whatsoever: I ran Check for Updates and it didn't find any!!! I started to look at related threads and tutorials but honestly the choices are overwhelming! Can someone please point me in the right direction to get me started? I'm not overly concerned about being updated or not... just nonsensical messages bother me!!! Currently at 18363.1500 p.s. sorry pic so big. need /width param.

    :)

    Conflicting Wi-Fi Messages

    Hi.
I have this problem trying to access a ASUS Win 10 computer on a local network.
I am getting these two messages:
One or more network protocols are missing on this computer
Windows Socket Registry Entries Required for Network Connectivity are Missing

I am told that the Wi-Fi is not connected, but the device status says it is working properly

    Suggestions please?

  3. Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543

Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:
    • Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
    • Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
    • Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

The actions I've taken to date are:
    1. Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
    2. Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
    3. Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

So the above errors are with the above done.

What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?

Below is notations for when I actually add to this thread.

    1. Attempted to use the troubleshooter, no dice.
