Windows 10: Windows Update constantly using all internet bandwidth

For weeks now my internet connection has been struggling causing significant internet related problems all around the home. I've finally pinned it down to Windows Update on my Windows 10 Dell Workstation.The PC has all the latest updates installed, I have Paused updates, manually turned off all the Update options, Delivery Optimisation and even specified that my network connection is meterer, however none of this makes a difference and the only solution is to manually limit the "Aboslute bandwidth for downloading in foreground" the PC draws the maximum internet bandwidth from my connection.I c

Window 10 eating my Wifi bandwidth

Whenever I start my laptop and check 'data usage' after couple of minutes, I found 'system' is using my internet bandwidth in size of hundreds MBs.

I urgently need to get rid of this.

I tried many tricks:

• Set wifi on metered connection
• Disable Windows Update service
• Disable scheduled task regarding Windows 10 update assistance and some others
• Set all background app to OFF.

Still windows 10 constantly eating my bandwidth.

How to stop this unacceptable behaviour?

Windows 10 update used up my internet quota and bandwidth

Dear sir,

Kindly advised, not all home user have signed up with unlimited internet access and high speed bandwidth.

The Windows 10 update find easily used up 2 to 3 GB and the Windows update is increase the burden on user.

More or less :-

Windows 10 updates potentially costing users on data-capped internet plans

Already explored many options and still not able to manage the internet quota and the bandwidth.

So, did anyone have any suggestion on this Windows 10 update?
