  1. Windows update consuming 30,0MB of my disk performance

Well, by the tiltle above you main know what i'm facing right.

I'm extremely frustrating, the win10 update before allowed us as admin privileges to shutdown update orchestrator software and windows update service (to avoid this annoying image bellow), but right know you don't have either the access to or the button setup to click

If possible, please don't ask me:

    1. Did you try to restart?

    2. Did you try to shutdown any other process?

    3. Did you try to terminate the process?

I hope someone have any bypass to PERMA BLOCK any further update (I honestly guess it's not possible, but i do hope someone can figure something to avoid at least this 99% disk usage)

    Thanks in advance,

    Gianlucca Schuler

    :)

  2. Disk bloat in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

Is it my imagination, or does the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update consume an additional 20-30GB of disk space over the previous Creators Update release? Unfortunately, I didn't log my disk usage before the upgrade, but now my C: drive has 56GB of stuff, and I know it wasn't anywhere near that full before. I've run "Disk Cleanup -> Clean up system files" and selected everything on the list, including remove previous version of Windows. I also emptied my Recycle Bin, my Temp folder, \Windows\Temp folder, and \Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder. Finally, I ran Wise Disk Cleaner to delete assorted application garbage.

Has anyone else noticed the bloat in Fall Creators Update?

Windows update consuming 30,0MB of my disk performance

ASUSTOR Announces All NAS Devices are Upgrading to ADM 2.3

I assume this OS update ( which reads like a step in the right direction) does nothing to change the limitation of disks being configured to the smallest disk size in the array (204TE)? I imagine if it did it would be on the top of the improvements list above.
I will be interested to find out more about the claim on the networking performance improvement 30 to 50%. and what it encompasses.

    Cheers
