Windows 10: Windows update deleting drivers

Hi, I am writing regarding a persisting issue that I have been dealing with. I got an ASUS X571 GD laptop and had issues with. It works on a windows 11 pro and before the update 23H2, everything was working fine with the 22H2 version. It is causing me problems with windows updates, specifically driver updates. Because of these errors I am using my laptop only with office and not downloading anything else but I really need help. I am a student and really don't have the time to deal with this issue every time. Is there any final solution to make this incompatibility/corruption issues w

ATI Driver install problems

There seems to be a kind of a mess after deletion of your current driver.
Have you tried step-by-step drivers update procedure including Driver Sweeper, deleting Prefetch and Temp folders, etc?

 

Windows update keeps replacing ALPS Touchpad driver with a Synaptics driver.

I suggest you to uninstall and delete the previous drivers and the latest drivers for the touchpad and install the required version of the driver from Device Manager by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
• Expand the Touch pad driver.
• Right click on the driver and click on update/install.
• Select the required version from the on-screen prompts.

And for the problem with the installation of printer drivers, I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Update” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
