Windows 10: Windows update disabled internet adapter

On November 27th, my computer's internet suddenly stopped working. I have a cable going straight from the router to my PC. I have tried restarting my computer, checking my internet cable on other computers, cleaned the PC, went through device manager, drivers, different commands, BIOS and more. Basically, I did everything trying to find the root cause of the problem. I wasn't sure if the problem was the hardware or windows. I used a USB to run Linux and suddenly my internet worked. After being sure that the port is fine, I restored my computer to November 26th. Then, I went to see if there was

Internet connectivity adapters gone, right click disabled

Method 1: Run the internet Connection Troubleshooter

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection.

Refer to these steps:

• 1. Press Windows key + X, select Control panel
• 2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• 3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• 4. Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Method 2: Update your drivers. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Select Network Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• 
  Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.

IP configuration not valid - interference from ethernet adapter?

Solution 1: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1or Windows 10

Step 1:

Go to Device Manager → Network adapters.
Step 2:

Expand it (Network adapters).


Step 3:

Select your network adapter


Step 4:

Right click on your wireless network adapter or Ethernet adapter and then tap “Update Driver Software”.
(in this case your network adopter is Ethernet adopter so tap your Ethernet adapter)
Step 5:

Now on a new window you will need to click on “Browse my computer for driver software”.




Step 6:

Then select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.



Step 7:

Now choose the “Manufacturer’s drivers” from the list of two and then click next.



Step 8:

After the completion of the process just restart your PC and check if the problem is solved or not. If not, goto solution 2.



Solution 2: No Internet Access In Windows 8.1,windows10

Step 1:

Open command prompt.
Step 2:

Just go on hitting the enter after typing the each command.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
Step 3:

Now to check if the settings are disabled type:
netsh int tcp show global
then hit enter.
Step 4:

Now the thing left is just rebooting your system and just check if the problem is solved or not and just give feedback.*chuckle*Thumbs

 

Windows 10 update - No internet

To help you with your internet connection issue, we suggest that you uninstall and reinstall wireless adapter through device manager in Control Panel with the steps below:

• Right-click Start, then choose Device Manager.
• Expand Network Adapters.
• Right-click on your wireless adapter, and click Properties.
• Go to Driver tab, and click Uninstall.
