Windows 10: Windows update error 0*80070006

Asslam o Alaikum, I started encountering an error about a week ago whenever I try to update my windows, after multiple tries it was removed but now I am encountering another error named 0*80070006, I have tried almost every method given in this community but nothing has worked, whenever I try to update this line is showing up 'There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070006)' Kindly help me please.

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. I understand a 80070006 error is preventing you from downloading and installing an update. I'd like to gather a little more information about the issue to help narrow down the cause.



Are you receiving this error on your phone, or on the PC? What step of the update do you receive the error on? Is any other text or a secondary error code provided in the error message?



If you haven't updated your PC in a while I would first suggest checking to see if there are any Windows updates that need to be installed. Try running
Windows Update (under your computer's Start Menu in the
Control Panel) until no more updates are detected, then try the update again.



There is also a step listed on a support page for update errors on Windows Phone 7. While the specific error is not listed on the page located at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2484484, there is a step to try for if an error code is unlisted. I'll post those steps for you below. There is also a solutions wizard located at

http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/how-to/wp7/basics/troubleshoot-phone-update-errors that will assist with step by step solutions to assist you in working to resolve this issue.



Error not listed here or phone still not working



If your Windows Phone still does not respond, try the following:

• Restart your phone, reconnect it to your computer by using the USB cable that was included with the phone, and then try to update your phone again. When you connect your phone to your computer, make sure that you do not use a USB hub.
• Try a restart, reset and restore, or roll back of your Windows Phone 7 might help. See the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article to learn more:

Update installation error 80070006 Windows 10

80070006- I haven't heard this as far as Windows update is concerned. But nevertheless:

Let us check the system Files to see the corruption in the same.To do this do both of these:

• Perform System File Check (SFC)

Follow the steps:

a. Press “Windows Key + Q” to open search Bar.

b. Type “cmd” without quotes in the search box.

c. On the left pane, right click on the “cmd” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

d. Type ‘sfc /scannow’ without quotes and hit enter.

• run the System update readiness command. It detects incorrect manifests, cabinets or registry data, it may replace the incorrect data with corrected version available. Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click command prompt (Run as administrator).
• In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands. Press Enter key after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type Exit, and then press Enter.

Windows 10 80070006-2000C

I'm running Windows 7. I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 through windows update for several times . The update downloaded fine, but at around 0% the installation failed and restored
back to Windows 7 Windows update now shows message "Windows 10 couldn't be installed" with error code 80070006-2000C. I have 14 GB of free space on my system drive.
