Windows 10: Windows update error 0x8007042c and computer not recognizing any internet.

Hello. I have used the windows tool to format my computer about a month or so ago. Everything worked fine and I installed every single driver and everything the way I should do and the way it's meant to go. Lately I've found out that my computer doesn't recognize any networks ( wifi ) with all the proper drivers installed and even with an ethernet cable plugged in it says I have no internet connection. The trouble shooter detects no issues at all. With that I believe my windows update isn't working either since I get this error:


"There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x8007042c)".


I've proceeded to remove and reinstall the drivers but nothing seems to be working. This is a true burden because I believe all of this is what's causing my computer to run so poorly since it /needs/ to update and it's being able to do so.



If someone could help me fix this issue I'd be greatly appreciated.

I am getting an error code 0x8007042c when trying to run Windows Update in Windows 10. Microsoft says the problem is with the Firewall or Defender. Both are fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
