Windows 10: Windows Update error 0x80070643 - NET 5.0.10 Update for x64 Client KB5006192

HiI keep getting error 0x80070643 when updating windows 10. It seems to be a problem with NET 5.0.10 Update for x64 Client KB5006192. Any idea how to fix it?

Microsoft .Net Framework update error 0x80070643

Uninstalled Microsoft .Net Frameworks (All) due to some issues. Was finally able to reinstall .Net 1 to 3.5. Nothing above that will install. I tried NetFxRepairTool, , dotNetFx40_Full_setup, vs_community****.1509654832, and QuickBooksDesktopInstallDiagnosticTool.
Nothing will get it back. I installed VSCodeUserSetup-x64-1.30.2, but that didn't add them.

Here's the kicker. netfx_setupverifier says I only have 1 to 3.5 installed.

NDP4#(#)-KB3045557-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU says they're all already installed:

• .NET Framework 4.#(#) or a later update is already installed on this computer.

AspNetMVC3, AspNetMVC4, AspNetWebFxUpdate_KB2992080 and AspNetWebFxUpdate_KB2994397 say the following:

• Error writing to file: System.Web.Mvc.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory.
• On Retry: The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2350.

(What directory is that?)

Windows update throws an error for:

• Security Update for Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 3 (KB2993937) - Error 0x80070643
• Security Update for Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 4.0 (KB2993928) - Error 0x80070643
• Security Update for Microsoft ASP.NET MVC 5.0 (KB2992080) - Error 0x80070643

(I assume it's because of the MVC error above.)

Reformatting my computer is my very last option. Is there a way to force the .Net Framework 4.## to reinstall?

I have 5.0.11 .NET I am also seeing the same thing 2021-09 >NET 5.0.10 Update for x64 Client (KB5006192) Failed to install on 11/4/2021 - 080070643
also
I have 3.1.20 .NET and windows update is trying to install 2021-07 .NET Core 3.1.17 Update for x64 Client (KB5004772) Failed to install on 11/4/2021 - 080070643

I also hate when I can't find release notes on these "fixes" how long do you think it will take till they get this fixed?
