    Hi everyone,I’m encountering an issue with a recurring Windows Update failure related to Visual Studio 2019.A while back, I installed Visual Studio 2019 version 16.11.47 for a university assignment. After completing the assignment, I uninstalled that version and returned to using the latest Visual Studio release.Since then, all Windows updates have installed successfully except one:Update: Visual Studio 2019 version 16.11.47 security updateError Code: 0x80070643I've tried retrying the update manually, but it continues to fail every time.I did come across a post describing a similar issue, but

    Windows 10 Updates Error 0x80070643

    I've tried suggested fix and I still get the error message (the updates are interestingly the same updates as poster):

    • Security Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB3182373) - Error 0x80070643

    • Security Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (KB2645410) - Error 0x80070643

    • Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (KB2635973) - Error 0x80070643
