Windows 10: Windows Update error 0x800F0922 with 2025-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2...

Until this update was released there were no issues with Windows Update on this Windows 10 machine. The update repeatedly gets to around 96% complete on the blue update installation screen after restarting, and then says it cannot complete and reverses its installation. This is time consuming, as the update reattempts installation every single day, and its failure leaves the installation missing important security updates.There is no anti-virus software running.Have tried the normal troubleshooting tools DISM, SFC /scannow etc. and the Windows Update troubleshooter. Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

I hide the KBKB4074588 and that settled things for a while now 9 times these updates have failed to install.

Once I believe I got the error code 0x800f0922.
