Windows 10: Windows Update error code 0x80070003

I've been unable to update Windows for a couple weeks and got a BSOD yesterday that said win32kfull.sys was what failed. I can't open Local Group Policy Editor and when I check my Registry, windows update is missing. I have a backup of the registry from when I added TdrLevel 0 to the GraphicsDrivers because my games kept crashing, but I was unable to update windows long before I messed with the Registry.

Windows defender doesn't update- Error code 0x80070003

This applies to Windows 8/8.1 and probably applies to Win 10. Many of the suggested fixes for various issues have yet to be updated by MS to reflect whether they are applicable to the new OS.

Error code 0x80070003, occurs when some files in the Windows Update are missing even though the update is downloaded and extracted successfully. In the meantime, you can run the
