Windows 10: Windows Update Error Code 0x80070003

For the past several days I have not been able to update Windows Win 10 Every time I go to update my PC this happens, It starts the update, gets to exactly 7%, restarts and says it couldn't do the update and restarts again. When I go back to the Windows Update screen, I just get the error code "0x80070003" with a message saying that reads "We couldn't install this update, but you can try again." I've tried again several times but kept getting the same error and messageI've read several threads and articles on how to solve this issue, but nothing worked for me.I have tried: -SFC/DISM Comma

I suggest you to follow the steps given in the link below and check if it helps you. Select Windows 8.1 from the Product list.

Windows defender doesn't update- Error code 0x80070003

This applies to Windows 8/8.1 and probably applies to Win 10. Many of the suggested fixes for various issues have yet to be updated by MS to reflect whether they are applicable to the new OS.

• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps prior to the issue?

Error code 0x80070003, occurs when some files in the Windows Update are missing even though the update is downloaded and extracted successfully. In the meantime, you can run the
