    Windows update Error PLEASE HELP


    Hi,I am facing a very irritating problem since past 2 months. Before 2 months a new update had came. I clicked on Update and updated as well but after updating it says that There was a problem in updating , retry, And it has became 2 months, I am getting too much irritated. When there is a update and it isn't installed my laptop works slower than usual. I can't even pause the update.     Windows Won't Update? (Error 0x80d0602)

    When I get to the step that says del %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat, nothing happens.

    When I get to step 5 and type in
    • regsvr32.exe mshtml.dllN
    It gives me this:

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
