Windows 10: Windows update fails on Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB 64 bits 10.0.10240

Hello,


I've received a new computer (POS terminal) with Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB 64 bits 10.0.10240 installed. I've been assigned the task of installing some new software on the computer but before doing that I like to update the OS and check that everything is fine.


I've been unable to update the OS. Windows update just refuses to do anything and reports no error.




I've tried rebooting several times, same result.


How can I fix this problem?

use the key you need for the build and run those lines in cmd to activate

I suggest running those commands as administrator. Just in case.

Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (64-bit) when will it be available?


Good Day!

Does anyone know when Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (64-bit) and (32-bit) Versions will be available in the near future on MSDN or on the MS Enterprise Partners Servers?

I been searching and no such luck for a version of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB


Any information regarding this Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB Version I will be grateful I suspect it not available at this time or it will maybe be available after July 29th 2015

GPU-Z update loop (Windows 10 64-bit)

I don't have better steps - this is all, I have nothing to add.

Maybe it is worth noting issue was on Windows 10 Enterprise, build 14393.187, so maybe you should test on the same.
My other PCs have a different Windows 10 version - Pro, latest Insider Preview build from last week, and there is no such issue on those.
All are 64-bit edition of Windows 10.

This issue is not new. I have had same 1-2 years ago too, with older GPU-Z versions.

EDIT: And yes, I have Windows 10 UAC enabled and set to defaults. If you are using your Windows PCs with UAC off, you likely cannot reproduce this issue. *Smile
