Windows 10: windows update for fixing file explorer search bug

Hello team,Recently, I heard 4 people around me can't type any word in file explorer search box sometimes.We tried some methods but the issue still happened sometimes.Our current windows operating system and version is Windows10 Version 21H2OS Build 19044.1586.I wonder if any windows update can fix this issue or any recent windows update package affect our search function?Thank you!

File Explorer Search Not Working


I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.
