    Windows update from 1803 to 1903 or 1909 fail with 0xC1900101 - 0x30018


    The error message presented by the media creation tool states that the installation failed during the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSREP_SPECIALIZE.


    I have tried using the media creation tool on multiple occasions as well as the prompt that pops up on my desktop every so often and neither have worked. I have tried a clean boot as well as double checking all of my drivers and nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    0xc1900101 - 0x30018 first_boot sysprep (1903 Update)

    I am trying updatng to 1903 Update, and i am keep getting this error 0xc1900101 - 0x30018 first_boot sysprep. I tried updating from windows update. And from ISO (offline) , and nothing helps. Even tried clean boot and unistalling antivirus.
