Windows 10: Windows update getting stuck at 94% twice!

I have tried to update twice after an update prompt from my Windows 10, which is running on a Microsoft Pro PC. Both times, the update got stuck at 94%. What's up, Microsoft? I see many people with the same question, and many answers. Why is this still happening?

Windows 10 Update will not install stuck at 94%

I can not get the Nov 2019 update to install. It is stuck at 94% and really SLOWING my computer down! Help!!

 

Windows 10 1903 Update gets stuck Installing at 94%

I received a message that 1903 was available for update in my PC Settings. I ran SFC /Scannow cleanly and DISM.exe without error. I took an image backup and ran the update. I tried 3 times, and all 3 got stuck at 94% during installation phase.

I restored the image, downloaded the ISO and used it to upgrade. This gets stuck at 79% and wont move.

I am at a loss now. I don't know how to get the upgrade installed. I am on 1809 and up to date with all updates. Reinstalling is not an option so please don't suggest that. I have too many apps; too much data in program data and too many customizations.
The strange thing is I accidentally installed 1903 in May and it worked but I re imaged as I thought it was too early.

Windows Update Stuck

Updating my laptop which I haven't used for 6 months.
I go to Settings, Update and Security, and there are a list of 10 updates, 2 of which say pending install, the others say pending download. Left laptop on overnight and still saying the same this morning.
Ran Windows Troubleshooting Updates twice, both times found no problem.
Have good Wi-Fi signal. Have re-booted several times. Now stuck. Can you please suggest how I get round this please.
