Windows 10: Windows Update Has Consumed All Available Disc Space

Windows installed two updates on 3/9/25 and now over 475 GB ALL of my disc space is consumed! How can this problem be corrected? I have no gaming programs, only Microsoft programs, QuickBooks, Norton, and Adobe Acrobat on the computer. I had barely used 1/8th of the total available space on the system!

Hello,

I only found answers online for windows system image space requirements & not windows repair disk.

Now, how much space does windows 10 repair disc consume? (do not be confused by system image backup)

Why is this feature only available on disc? - seriously inconvenient as I barely use a CD-drive, CD-Drive is a waste of sata port and desktop space, doesn't even match usb 2.0 transfer speeds =='. In-fact I purchased a usb to sata connector just to use it.

Is there a native method of creating the repair disc on a usb? I'd prefer not to use 3rd party software. Even if theres a cmd method, I'm happy to do it.

EDIT: Okay, I found out how much... it's only 500mb, so don't waste a perfectly good 4.7gb CD like I did -.-

Is there any way of storing additional files onto the cd? such a waste of space. I want to save my driver files onto it as a all in 1 solution.
