Hi I write this in english, to enlarge the potential community. Windows Update, I get error 0x80070002 when the systems tries to install Windows 11 Version 22H2. This problem is going on for a long time now. I tried everything I can found on the internet. - setting the time, all good,- Deleting the SoftwareDistribution directory, - Running scan, and DSIM, all good no errors, - Windows update troubleshooter, tells me: Check for Windows Update issues Detected:In troubleshooting report it says:- check for widows update issues // Resolve Windows Update issue Completed-Detection details: IsPostback

Error 0x80070002 when trying to update Windows

I have been having issues for months with Windows 10 updates failing due to Error 0x80070002 on my gaming laptop. The full message reads:

2019-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4503286) -Error 0x80070002.

I am currently on version 1803 (OS Build 17134.590) and I'm being told "You're currently running a version of windows that's nearing the end of support. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 now to get the latest features and security improvements."

I have followed the instructions on Error Code 0x80070002 Fixed – Eassos Step-by-Step Tutorial but this hasn't resolved the problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?

 

unable to upgrade to windows 11 error:0x80070002

good evening everyone I just downloaded and created the windows 11 media creation tool and tried to upgrade from windows 10 Pro x64 Edition Version 21H1Build operating system 19043.1266 to windows 11 but the wizard stops showing me the following message "it is not possible to determine if your pc is ready to continue installing windows 11. try restarting the installer" there is a problem select retry if the problem persists contact microsoft support for assistance error code 0x80070002

Install error - 0x80070002 problem on windows 11. i have tried the suggestive windows update troubleshooter but it it never repairs it, please can a Microsoft rep or anyone who knows how to fix, please help? Thanks.
