Windows 10: Windows Update - Install error - 0x800f0831

Hi there, from about a week I've got a notification that i miss the update KB5019961, but it constantly fails with the error 0x800f0831. From the CBS.log the error appears being due to missing some other packages:CSI 00000014 StoreCorruptionRepair transaction begun. Error When Trying to Install Update (0x800f0831)

So I am trying to install an update but get the above error message (0x800f0831) is the error code

When I look up, it says this is a cumulative update, meaning it needs a prev update first.

OK, smart windows, what do I search for next? which one does it need? any clues atleast?

Here is what I found on google; - but the question is, what update # do I search for in the microsoft update catalog?

Resolution

To fix the issue, follow these steps:

1. Go to Microsoft Update Catalog.
   
2. In the Search box, enter the package ID of the <Missing_Package>.
   
3. Download the package and then install it.
   
4. Reinstall the <Failed_Package>.
   

 

Windows 10 Installation Error 0x800f0831

I created a Windows 10 ISO and attempted to do a clean install. I got an error message, installation not completed, returned to earlier settings. In the System app, under Upgrades, under update history, got the Error message, 0x800f0831. Any ideas?

couple of days ago I realised that my search bar in the bottom left isn't working. After an small investigation i found out the my windows update got an Error 0x800f0831. In the CBS.log I found this:

I tried to find 'Microsoft-Windows-Hello-Face-Migration-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.19041.1' in the update Catalog but I couldn't found it.

I don't know how to fix this problem. Therefor i am grateful for any suggestions.
