  1. Windows Update interrupt Stable Diffusion Training

First of all, this happened three times that Windows Update decided to restart during Stable Diffusion Training DreamboothI know update is important for security but...There is a way to let Windows Update not to restart during A.I. Training? Like monitor 3D/CUDA utilisation>90%?I notice when PC suddenly doesn't make noise, I go check and show "Just a moment"There Windows Update just to decide to waste two days of A.I. training, there are no way to resume last epoch due to conservative SSD write.

    :)

BSOD related to driver watchdog.sys soon after trying to run Stable Diffusion

My Dell XPS 9530 laptop, which I bought about a month ago, gave me a blue screen of death about half an hour after I ran Stable Diffusion, which I set up using this guide. This particular laptop has Windows 11 Home and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card, with the Game Ready driver version 546.17. The driver supplied by Dell is a few months older, but it came with a driver autoupdate tool (GeForce Experience) that provided me with the newer version.

When I tried to run Stable Diffusion on my laptop on November 29th 2023, it locked up entirely for a few minutes before Stable Diffusion displayed an error about no CUDA cores being available. I couldn't even move the mouse. Again, I would say that was about half an hour before the blue screen of death occurred. Dell's own support team couldn't provide me any advice more helpful than telling me to uninstall Stable Diffusion.

Here is the information that Dell SupportAssist shows about the BSOD:

    Bug check code
    0x00000119
    Bug check parameters
    0x0000000000000002,
    0xffffffffc000000d,
    0xffffd3851f60f860,
    0xffff888c6b242080
    Device name
    Watchdog Driver
    Driver version
    10.0.22621.2506
    Driver path
    C:\Windows\System32\drivers\watchdog.sys

I have uploaded my System Information output and Minidump to OneDrive and have created a public link:

    OneDrive

    Thanks!

Windows Update interrupt Stable Diffusion Training

    Help with Hardware Interrupts

To use Krview, ignore any driver that is part of Windows or that is for the CPU idle thread.
inteppm is for the CPU idle thread, ignore it.
hal and ntkrnlpa are part of Windows, ignore them.
ati2mtag is the first one on the list that is elevated and relevant.
Find out what hardware interrupt it uses and then any device that shares this interrupt could be the problem. It might not be ati2mtag.
If its the video driver, can you use another card?
Putting the computer to sleep might reset things.
