Windows 10: Windows Update is canceled after the software check

Unfortunately, I am not able to install the Windows update. During the software compatibility check, the message appears that JDownloader 0.9 is not compatible and I should update or uninstall it, but this software is no longer installed. There is only one entry under App and Features, but the software itself is no longer installed on my device. Is there a way to bypass the verification?

Step 1:

  Press Crtl + alt + Delete key on your keyboard to open task manager.
  
• 
  Cancel the Windows Update task form the task manager.

  Run Windows Update Troubleshooter. Click this

Windows Installer popup on Windows 10 will not cancel

For us to isolate the issue with the Windows Installer pop-up that can't be cancelled, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• When you say "It will not cancel", can you tell us what happens when you try canceling it?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In he meantime, we suggest that you perform a clean boot. It will help us determine if there are any third-party
programs/apps that is causing the issue. It could be some other applications or programs.
