Windows 10: Windows update is hung @ 41% of Office 2015 updates

I searched a bit on Windows update but found nothing soooo.
Can someone explain how to unhang Windows 10 Updates of Office 2013. Some of the updates show as ready to install, others as d/ling but everything is stalled at 41%.

november windows 10 update not installing

Anyone having trouble with the November 2015 Windows 10 update? 3 machines updated OK, but my Minix PC failed to update twice. It hung during the setup process.

 

Win 10 - Win Update hung waiting for KB2956076 - how to cancel?

I just got a new Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 10, and am trying to get it up to date with the MS updates. I've gotten most on, but the latest attempt has
hung up for several hours waiting for KB2956076 to download. This is an Office 10 update, but I don't have Office 10 installed, I have Office 2007 with Windows 10 Home, build 10586.36.

In an attempt to get past this hang with the updates, I downloaded and installed KB2956076 manually, but the Windows Update is still hung so
I need to know how to get past this hang.

I've tried rebooting, and X-ing out of the updates several times, but Windows Update just stays in the hung state waiting for this one patch to download. How the @#$% do I get out of this? TIA

 

Never heard of Office 2015. Maybe there is a mistake somewhere.

Are you loading from a DVD? Do you have a previous version of Office on your computer? If you do have a previous version of Office, any Office product, you should remove it.

 

OK to be clear:
Windows 10 x64 build 10130 current with all OS updates (as far as I can tell)
I installed Office 2013 Pro Plus Eval from MS D/L site
Initial Office updates went fine. Current updates are hung.
I assume the problem is with Windows 10 update app.
There should be a way to clear out the stalled update attempt and start over,
I just don't have a clue on how to do that or what other means I can use to get Windows Update working again.
I also assume that no other updates (OS or otherwise) will occur until the "stall" is fixed.
