Windows 10: Windows update issue. error 0x80070422 and error 1058

Discus and support Windows update issue. error 0x80070422 and error 1058 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I've already tried everything I've seen in Google, Youtube etc...and I just can't fix it, I've been trying different things for two days and nothing...     Windows update issue. error 0x80070422 and error 1058


    I've already tried everything I've seen in Google, Youtube etc...and I just can't fix it, I've been trying different things for two days and nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me please ??. Thank you.

    windows 10 update error code 0x80070422

    I am having the same issue with win 10. I have done all these steps and am still getting error codeWindows update issue. error 0x80070422 and error 1058 :(0x80070422) when I check for updates and using the store.

    When I tried to run net start wuauserv I get error 1058 as well.

    Any help not mentioned above would be appreciated.

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

    A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
