Windows 10: Windows update issue

Dear Team,


I have installed windows 10 in my laptop and I always get auto update which take almost 2-3 days to update the same. My whole work gets stuck because of this stupid updated which I done even require. I stop stopping it my going into manage screen or pausing the same into Settings option but still the same continues and if gets stops my videos doesn't work. If you go to you tube we have show all option that doesn't work. Any movie site doesn't get open it just shows as loading .


Its very frustrating to handle this. I never faced such problem in Windows 7 but now everyday due to this update its becoming mess. I need a permanent solution for this issue am facing.

Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.
