    Windows update issue


    Hello,
    I just bought a brand new HP AIO Windows 10 Home 64Bit i5 8400T w/8GB RAM and when I set it up I ran the Windows update right away, it ran some security updates and some updates to Windows version 1809 however, it stops there when I run the Check for Windows Update it indicates Your System Is Up to Date on Windows version 1809?

    Should I be concerned that it won't run the latest Windows update 1903? All of my other HP unit's new and old ran up to 1903 as soon as it was available.


    Please advise!

    Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

    It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

    If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

    I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.

    That's my 2 cents anyways. *Smile Windows update issue :)
