Windows 10: Windows update issue

So my PC had an update available through windows before I went to work but I ignored it, and forgot to turn off the auto update.

Now that I'm home from work, I believe the update went through and bricked my PC.

My PC won't load to desktop, when it boots up now, all I get is stuck on the windows startup loading screen indefinitely.

I get two other screens after several reboots.

Either it gets through the windows starting screen and then immediately blue screens with a "critical services failed" stop code.

Or just after my Mobo screen it says "no boot device detected"

So I went into my bios, and discovered my boot drive (a small SSD) is not even appearing on my boot options.

So I believe the update bricked my SSD.

I also tried loading up windows advanced options on startup and none of the options work. I can't uninstall updates, nor can I system restore, or startup repair, none of it works it just says "an error occurred, please restart your pc"

Any help or ideas on this would be appreciated

Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.
