Discus and support Windows Update issues in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; So I have 2 different error codes for windows update, error code Download error - 0x80004002 for 4 of my updates and error code Download error -...     Windows Update issues


    So I have 2 different error codes for windows update, error code Download error - 0x80004002 for 4 of my updates and error code Download error - 0x80070424 for 1 of them, here is an image of the issue below. Every time I click download and install it says downloading 0% then says retry. I've checked my services and im pretty sure they are all good, I've tried doing some scripts in cmd/powershell from other questions with this problem but I've had no success so far. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

    It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

    If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

    I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.

    That's my 2 cents anyways. *Smile Windows Update issues :)
