Windows 10: Windows update-issues

Discus and support Windows update-issues in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; I wonder why do some windows updates fall for some people but not for others?     I haven't been able to install Windows 10 due to the following error: C1900101-20017. Any idea what this is and does it mean I'm out of luck?

    Thanks for reply done all this twice and have now re installed win 10 for the 3rd time after returning to win 7 ultimate and no issues with internet / driver . Even downloaded the new win 10 drive from realtek. still no good when up loaded

    Network is realtek PCle GBE family controller.

    as soon as I reload win 10 there is no internet connect. I get this error windows could not automatically bind the IP protocol stack to network.

    I have also removed programmes which Microsoft state might have caused problem, but still got this problem.

    Because not everyone has exactly the same computer hardware with exactly the same Windows 10 with untouched files installed on it.

    Many times it is caused by various security software, it holds on some files during an update and then system files gets corrupted, not to mention, that regular maintenance (not inbuilt) would help to prevent it either.
